Lean service operations and lean management are of vital importance for all providers as much manufacturers. Unfortunately, most universities need to be made aware the concept lean. However, they can benefit from in their areas, such admissions, administration research funds, hiring, nearly any functional area where multi-step processes simplified focused on needs users served by organization. methodologies focus reducing waste (Muda Japanese), removing overburden (Muri unnecessary variation (Mura Japanese). Non-value-added activities eliminated or dealt with develop performance process. This study aims highlight suitability a university environment enhance efficiency operational tasks performed provide suggestions better performance. were applied School Graduate Studies at Turkish current state process recommendations alternatives issues faced using Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
